NBC Google Email Address Change
Due to the recent DET @education email migration, we will be changing all NBC Google email accounts to align with the new DET email format. This means your email address will change from [email protected] to [email protected].
If your @education email address contains a number, for example: [email protected] this will carry over to your NBC Google email, for example: [email protected].
All staff accounts will be changed on Wednesday 29th July 2020 between the hours of 6PM – 8AM the following day.
Don’t Worry! Any emails sent to your old NBC email address (after the change) will still arrive to your Inbox. Your old email address will become an alias of your new email address. You will not need to backup any data or emails, nothing will be lost.
After the change is complete:

- If you are signed into Google Chrome (for syncing purposes) your account will update automatically and you will not be required to login.
- If you are signed into Google through Google Chrome or any other browser (and remembering your account details), your account will update automatically and you will not be required to login. If you do however, please use your new email address.
- If you are signed into your NBC Google account via Outlook, please follow the steps in the below guide. Attached are Instructions for Windows Outlook versions 2016 and 2019 and Mac Outlook 2016. If you are using Office 365, please follow the 2019 guide.
Please take the time to follow the steps in order to update your Outlook email service. If you’re unsure which version you have, please start with the 2016 guide.
